Laser micromachining laboratory

Research carried out in the Laser micromachining labs:

  • laser color marking,
  • manufacturing of electrical microstructures, mechanical or opto-mechanical – microantennas, metamaterials structures , RFID, MEMS, MEOMS,
  • performance elements for microfluidics,
  • biomedical applications – microreactors, lab-on-Chip, structuring of the surface,
  • manufacture of tools for microsurgery (stents)
  • machining (micro) Ceramics: LTCC, AlN, Al2O3, zirconia, etc.
  • surface cleaning using laser ablation,
  • cutting of composite materials, flexible, cutting sterile,
  • study the composition of processed materials (LIBS)
  • new concepts (methodologies) micromachining,

  • Trotec Speedy 300 marking system (CO2 laser, 10.6 µm, 25 W)
  • Oxford Lasers micromachining system (25W @ 1064 nm, 10 W @ 532 nm)
  • Trotec SpeedMarker FL (Yb:Fiber laser, 30W @ 1064 nm)
  • Optec ProMaster KrF excimer laser (248 nm)
  • Keyence VHX-1000 microscope
